About our camp

In Stagedoor Manor young performers, aged 10-18, can feel the excitement of standing on stage and enjoying the applause of the audience. Teens who love theatre and acting have the opportunity to learn from directors, producers, choreographers and skilled coaches, as well as gain hands-on experience in performing on the stage. Summer camps specializing in performing arts are not abundant, and Stagedoor Manor already managed to host campers from 46 states, 24 countries and 6 continents. Having more than five decades of history, Stagedoor Manor once welcomed Natalie Portman, Mandy Moore, and Zach Braff as young teens who would grow to be recognized artists.

Located in the Catskill Mountains of New York State, Stagedoor Manor offers convenient dormitories with beds, private baths, dressers and closets. Resident nurses are available 24/7 and provide emergency and regular medical support.

Camp programs & activities

Lovers of theatre will find 60 core lessons and 25 specialty classes that will help them grow as artists. Bryn Mawr offers trainings in film acting, dance, vocal training, movement, musical theatre, acting, stage combat and more. Young artists witness the birth of real performances – be they dramatic shows, musicals or theater performances.

The activities are not limited to performing arts, though. Campers can play volleyball and swim in an outdoor swimming-pool, too.
