About our camp
240 boys and 240 girls come to Camp Laurel each year. Their age ranges from 7-15. Six campuses serve the large number of campers. Camp Laurel is located in the Belgrade Lakes region, Maine, and was founded in 1949, welcoming campers every year since its start. The menu is rich and diverse, including salad, pasta bar, fruits at every meal, daily soups from scratch, weekly cookouts, and options for vegetarians. Fresh cookies, cakes and bread are the pride of the camp baker. Medical personnel is available the whole day around to take care of campers should the need arise. The modern Health Center is staffed by a team of nurses and an on-site doctor. On Friday evenings, campers get together for a non-denominational “council fire”. Having said that, Camp Laurel has no religious services and is open to children and teens from all backgrounds and religions.
Our programs
Athletics, adventure, waterfront and the arts are the main categories of activities at Camp Laurel. Evening program includes theatre productions, group games, and sports leagues as well as a Special Event Day every fifth day – in or out of the camp. While young campers are assigned tennis lessons, team sports, waterskiing, crafts, swimming and fitness, older boys and girls have the right for more electives. To nurture sense of sportsmanship, intercampus tournaments are organized in soccer, volleyball, swimming, sailing, etc. Under the supervision of an NCAA Equestrian coach, campers are trained in English riding, horse shows, jumping, dressage, and horse care.

Program-specific tuition options
This camp may offer session-specific tuition structures, including variations by length of stay, enrollment timing, or payment schedule. Families should confirm details directly with the provider.
Per-night (overnight) and per-day (day) figures are calculated from each session's standard tuition and shown as a planning reference only. We show the lowest per-night or per-day rate across this camp's sessions, so the total for a given session, and your actual tuition, may be higher depending on length of stay, age group, or enrollment timing.
This estimate helps families understand the overall scale of commitment across stay options. Final tuition, inclusions, discounts, and payment structures vary by session and are confirmed directly with the camp.
